Dr. Kristin Wootton ND, BHSc
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
Welcome!
From a young age, I knew I wanted to be involved in the health care field as I had a passion for health and
helping others. While attending the University of Western Ontario (UWO), I had the opportunity to be introduced to the
world of complementary and alternative medicine through the Health Science program. It was with this introduction that
I knew the world of Naturopathic Medicine was where I belonged. As a practitioner, my primary goal is to empower and
educate my patients so that together we can work on optimizing their health through individualized treatment plans.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science from UWO in 2010 and recently graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Naturopathy. I have successfully completed the Naturopathic Physicians Licencing Examinations (NPLEX) and the Ontario Board Examinations and am currently in the process of registering with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy (BDDT-N), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
Clinical Experience
Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic: 12-month internship in North York where I saw patients, worked in the lab and worked in the botanical dispensery.
Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic: 12-month internship working in the Brampton Civic Hospital. The first naturopathic teaching clinic in a hospital in Canada.
Sherborne Health Centre: 4-month internship focusing on the HIV/AIDS population in Toronto.
